Alaska High School Basketball - Chevak knocked off by Scammon Bay

The Scammon Bay Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Chevak Comets to 59 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hooper Bay for a 2A Western Coastal contest on Saturday, January 20. Scammon Bay will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Scammon Bay (Scammon Bay, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
The Comets (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Wolfpack enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Unalakleet ran past Homer (Homer, AK), 75-63, in a non-league contest.
