The Glasgow Yellowjackets basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Slater Wildcats to 51 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sturgeon for a Central contest on Friday, January 19. Glasgow will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-66 league loss to Slater (Slater, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-10.

The Wildcats (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, MO). The Panthers enter the Central contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Madison was defeated by Columbia Independent (Columbia, MO), 55-24, in a non-league contest.
