North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus ripped by Lake Norman

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 72-44 triumph over the West Cabarrus Wolverines.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro match, on Friday, January 19. Lake Norman will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 2-14 record after their 93-55 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).

With the defeat, West Cabarrus moves to 6-9 on the year. The Wolverines host A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to meet the Wonders in a 4A Greater Metro match on Monday, January 22. The Wonders enter the match with a record of 8-8. A.L. Brown lost 76-64 in their recent league match against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
