The Cougars travel to Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS) to play the Crusaders in a MAIS 5A District 2 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Park Place Christian Academy won 58-41 in their recent league challenge against East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS)

Next up, the Raiders play the East Rankin Academy Patriots (Pelahatchie, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Lamar will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 58-41 league loss to Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS).
