Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host York Golden Knights (Retsof, NY), 78-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Le Roy upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Oatkan Knights travel to Dansville (Dansville, NY) to clash with the Mustangs in a Section 5 Livingston 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Dansville won 65-50 in their recent league bout against Haverling (Bath, NY)

Next up, the Golden Knights clash with the Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. York will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 76-57 non-league loss to Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY).
