The Aniak Halfbreeds (Aniak, AK) basketball knocked off the visiting Kalskag Grizzly Bears (Upper Kalskag, AK), 47-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Halfbreeds (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Akiachak (Akiachak, AK). The Huskies go into the 1A Greater Kuskokwim test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Akiachak notched a victory over Tuluksak (Tuluksak, AK), 38-28, in a non-league test.

The Grizzly Bears now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tuluksak for a 1A Greater Kuskokwim test on Friday, January 19. Kalskag will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 38-28 non-league loss to Akiachak (Akiachak, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-4.
