Wisconsin High School Basketball - Fennimore knocked off by Cuba City

The Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Fennimore Golden Eagles to 33 in the Cubans league triumph on Thursday.
The Cubans now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mineral Point for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Tuesday, January 23. Cuba City will meet a Pointers team coming off a 70-36 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 12-2.
The Golden Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Chieftains enter the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Riverdale was defeated by Darlington (Darlington, WI), 43-33, in a league contest.
