Virginia High School Basketball - L.C. Bird nipped by Midlothian

The Midlothian Trojans tipped the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks basketball team by a final score of 43-40 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion game, on Tuesday, January 23. Midlothian will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 50-16 league win over Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA).

With the defeat, L.C. Bird moves to 10-3 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA) to face the Indians in a Dominion game on Monday, January 22. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 3-8. Powhatan lost 64-28 in their recent league outing against Cosby (Midlothian, VA)
