Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Randolph Rams (Randolph, NJ), 49-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montville upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Mustangs host West Morris Central (Chester, NJ) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 9-6. West Morris Central won 50-46 in their recent non-league bout against Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ)

Next up, the Rams play the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Randolph will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to University (Newark, NJ).
