The The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans basketball team (Kensington, MD), was overwhelmed 72-46 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA)
The Panthers now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel for a Washington Catholic battle on Monday, January 22. Paul VI will confront a Falcons team coming off a 79-53 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 8-6.
The Tartans (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs come into the Washington Catholic battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Bishop McNamara trounced St. John's (Washington, DC), 67-50, in a league battle.
