Virginia High School Basketball - The Academy of the Holy Cross ripped by Paul VI

The Paul VI Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans to 47 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John's for a DCSAA contest on Sunday, February 4. Paul VI will meet a Cadets team coming off a 57-45 league win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 14-5.
The Tartans (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Good Counsel triumphed over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 68-47, in a league contest.
