In Thursday's league outing, the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH), by a margin of 39-15.
The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Linsly (Wheeling, WV). The Cadets go into the non-league outing with a 4-12 record. In their last outing, Linsly was trounced by Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH), 62-39, in a league outing.
The Tornadoes now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Trimble for a Tri-Valley - Hocking outing on Saturday, January 20. Southern will clash with a Tomcats squad coming off a 61-32 non-league loss to River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Tomcats record now stands at 3-8.
