    January 18, 2024: Berlin Center, OH 44401

    In Thursday's league outing, the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) basketball squad edged the host Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), by a margin of 40-39.

    The Tigers (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Columbiana (Columbiana, OH). The Clippers go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Columbiana held off Lowellville (Lowellville, OH), 40-24, in a non-league outing.

    The Blue Devils now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crestwood for a non-league match on Saturday, January 20. Western Reserve will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 68-27 league win over Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-9.
