In Monday's league match, the host Springfield Tigers basketball team scored a tight 42-41 triumph over the Western Reserve Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet match, on Thursday, December 14.
