The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) and the visiting Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND), observed Devils Lake's basketball team overwhelm Central Cass by a margin of 72-45.

The Firebirds (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grafton (Grafton, ND). The Spoilers come into the A Region 2 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Grafton trounced Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND), 70-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Squirrels battle the Kindred Vikings (Kindred, ND) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Central Cass will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
