The Freeman Falcons basketball squad (Adams, NE), was nudged 55-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Johnson-Brock Eagles (Johnson, NE)

With the victory, Johnson-Brock advances its record to 14-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 13-1.

The Falcons now own a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malcolm for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Freeman will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 49-28 non-league win over Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE). The Clippers record now stands at 8-3.
