The Mavericks (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region III District 19 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Mayde Creek topped Tompkins (Katy, TX), 61-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Paetow will attempt to better on its 16-11 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 22-6 record after their 78-56 league loss to Jordan (Fulshear, TX).
