Nebraska High School Basketball - Hitchcock County crushes Sutherland

The Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE), 56-34 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Paxton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Hitchcock County will play a Tigers team coming off a 55-23 league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Sutherland falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Medicine Valley lost 51-29 in their recent non-league bout against Mullen (Mullen, NE)
