In Wednesday's league outing, the West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) basketball squad felled the host Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID), by a margin of 41-27.
The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID). The Tigers go into the 2A South East Idaho outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Aberdeen thwarted Malad (Malad, ID), 62-52, in a league outing.
The Bears now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Gem for a non-league outing on Friday, January 21. Bear Lake will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 57-26 non-league loss to Grace (Grace, ID). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-2.
