Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Royalton Royals (Royalton, MN), 64-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Ashby (Ashby, MN) to clash with the Arrows in a A Section 6 bout on Friday, January 20. The Arrows go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Ashby lost 64-38 in their recent league bout against Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) in a AA Section 6 bout, on Monday, January 23. Royalton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 69-24 league win over Foley (Foley, MN).
