In Thursday's league outing, the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, SC) basketball squad edged the visiting Lee Academy Cavaliers (Bishopville, SC), by a count of 66-65.
The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Marlboro Academy (Bennettsville, SC). The Dragons go into the SCISA AA Region III outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Marlboro Academy held off Lee Academy (Bishopville, SC), 54-45, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host King's Academy for a SCISA AA Region III outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lee Academy will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 68-34 league loss to Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC). The Lions record now stands at 4-9.
