California High School Basketball - Exeter topped by Kerman

The Kerman Lions basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Exeter Monarchs to 48 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coalinga for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Kerman will battle a Horned Toads team coming off a 59-49 league win over Avenal (Avenal, CA). The Horned Toads record now stands at 11-9.

The Monarchs (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Tri-County contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Central Valley Christian was defeated by Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
