Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA), 59-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Exeter upgrades its record to 10-17 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Tri-County - Sequoia bout on Friday, February 10. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 13-13. Central Valley Christian lost 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) in a Tri-County - Sequoia bout, on Friday, February 10. Kerman will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-12 record after their 58-36 league win over Reedley (Reedley, CA).
