In Thursday's league outing, the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) basketball squad felled the host James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), by a margin of 70-55.
The Buffaloes (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers go into the Three Rivers outing with a 7-10 record.
The Knights now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glenvar for a Three Rivers outing on Wednesday, January 25.
