New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve ripped by Magdalena

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Magdalena Steers basketball team scored a decisive 78-9 triumph over the Reserve Mountaineers.

In their next game, the Steers meet the Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 20. Magdalena will attempt to better on its 16-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 8-8 record after their 40-34 non-league win over New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM).

With the defeat, Reserve moves to 4-12 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Animas (Animas, NM) to meet the Panthers in a A District 2 match on Saturday, January 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-10. Animas lost 80-39 in their recent league match against Cliff (Cliff, NM)
