The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions basketball team scored 81 points and held the host St. James Saints to 47 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of Mount Carmel for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 22. St. Andrew's Episcopal will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-51 league loss to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 10-9.
The Saints (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was routed by Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 66-56, in a league contest.
