Virginia High School Basketball - Walsingham Academy trounces Veritas School

The Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) basketball crushed the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), 69-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Oaks go into the Tidewater Independent test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Norfolk Collegiate walloped Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), 99-62, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to New Covenant for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Veritas School will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 69-42 non-league win over Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 12-4.
