The Veritas School Lions basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Walsingham Academy Trojans to 60 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart Hall for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12.

The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Christian was defeated by Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 64-33, in a non-league contest.
