The Blue Mountain Eagles basketball team (Schuylkill Haven, PA), was overwhelmed 52-24 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA)

The Spartans now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northampton for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. North Schuylkill will battle a Konkrete Kids team coming off a 47-15 non-league win over William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Konkrete Kids record now stands at 8-5.

The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Emmaus was overwhelmed by Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA), 57-28, in a league battle.
