The Southern Aroostook Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Calais Blue Devils to 26 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Kent for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Southern Aroostook will battle a Warriors team coming off a 74-23 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.

The Blue Devils (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx enter the C North contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Mattanawcook was routed by Central (East Corinth, ME), 62-47, in a league contest.
