Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), 73-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southern Aroostook upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Ashland (Ashland, ME) to play the Hornets in a D North bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ashland won 37-35 in their recent league bout against Washburn (Washburn, ME)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) in a C North bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Calais will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
