Arizona High School Basketball - Casa Grande ripped by Mountain Pointe

The Mountain Pointe Pride basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Casa Grande Cougars to 18 in the Pride league triumph on Thursday.

The Pride now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Campo Verde for a 5A San Tan contest on Friday, January 20. Mountain Pointe will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 65-45 league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 14-7.

The Cougars (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights enter the 5A San Tan contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Higley was routed by Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 57-28, in a league contest.
