The Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans basketball team scored 27 points and held the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds to 22 in the Titans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Titans now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lake for a Macomb Area - Gold contest on Wednesday, January 25. Sterling Heights Stevenson will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 52-51 non-league win over Cousino (Warren, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-5.

The Big Reds (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marysville (Marysville, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Marysville nudged L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI), 43-35, in a non-league contest.
