The Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI), 35-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Big Reds (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI). The Ravens go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Royal Oak got by Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 49-21, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host South Lake for a Macomb Area - Gold test on Thursday, January 5.
