The Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers basketball team (Cripple Creek, CO), was toppled 54-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO)
The Hornets now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiowa for a 1A Black Forrest battle on Saturday, January 21. Hanover will confront a Indians team coming off a 47-22 non-league win over Swallows Charter Academy (Pueblo West, CO). The Indians record now stands at 9-0.
The Pioneers (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Creede (Creede, CO). The Miners come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Creede beat Antonito (Antonito, CO), 41-22, in a non-league battle.
