Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers (Cripple Creek, CO), 44-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hanover upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Arickaree (Anton, CO) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Pioneers play the Colorado School for the Deaf Blind Bulldogs (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 1A Black Forrest bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Cripple Creek-Victor will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 42-10 non-league win over Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN).
