The Hiland Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Sandy Valley Cardinals to 17 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waynedale for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Hiland will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 50-41 non-league win over Triway (Wooster, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 14-2.
The Cardinals (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against East Canton (East Canton, OH). The Hornets enter the Inter-Valley contest with a 4-12 record.
