The Perth Amboy Panthers basketball team scored 27 points and held the visiting South Plainfield Tigers to 21 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middlesex for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Perth Amboy will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 54-28 non-league win over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Bluejays record now stands at 11-1.

The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Edison, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Edison was nudged by North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
