The South Plainfield Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Perth Amboy Panthers to 44 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. South Plainfield will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Middlesex edged Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 67-47, in a non-league contest.
