Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI), 61-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Rockford upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MI) to play the Fighting Scots in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Fighting Scots go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Caledonia lost 65-43 in their recent league bout against East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the East Kentwood Falcons (Kentwood, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout, on Tuesday, January 24. West Ottawa will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 65-43 league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MI).
