In Friday's league outing, the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) basketball squad beat the host Mountain View Vikings (El Monte, CA), by a count of 47-37.

The Knights (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers go into the Mission Valley outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, Rosemead was topped by Marshall (Pasadena, CA), 73-37, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they host South El Monte for a Mission Valley outing on Monday, January 22. Mountain View will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 62-23 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-15.
