Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mountain View Vikings (El Monte, CA), 63-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Arroyo upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Rosemead (Rosemead, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a Mission Valley bout on Monday, December 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Rosemead won 48-40 in their recent league bout against Marshall (Pasadena, CA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Monday, December 18. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 46-23 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
