North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant trounced by Carolina International

The Carolina International Comets routed the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team by a final score of 79-50 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the Charlotte Lab School Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 20. Carolina International will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 74-52 non-league loss to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Queen's Grant moves to 8-9 on the year. The Stallions travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to face the Owls in a 1A Metro 8 game on Monday, January 22. The Owls enter the game with a record of 8-7. Valor Preparatory Academy won 70-50 in their recent non-league game against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC)
