Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 68-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frankston upgrades its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Cross Roads lost 79-35 in their recent league bout against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Kerens Bobcats (Kerens, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Cayuga will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record.
