The Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 47-34 in Tuesday's league test.

The Indians (24-7) will now prepare for their test against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region III District 19 test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Cross Roads went down by Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX), 97-22, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 11-19 record. They play next when they host Kerens for a 2A Region III District 19 test on Friday, February 9. Cayuga will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 94-52 league loss to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-11.
