The Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), 67-18 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Loop (Loop, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region I District 8 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Loop triumphed over Klondike (Lamesa, TX), 54-52, in a league contest.
