With the victory, West Harrison improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to play the Rebels in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. George County won 81-34 in their recent league challenge against Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Long Beach will attempt to improve on its 4-19 season record. The Maroon Tide come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 56-51 league win over Hancock (Kiln, MS).
