Georgia High School Basketball - Manchester nudges Macon County

January 19, 2024: Manchester, GA 31816

In Friday's league outing, the Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA), by a count of 72-71.

The Blue Devils (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles go into the A D2 Region 6 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Marion County held off Schley County (Ellaville, GA), 71-50, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a A D2 Region 6 outing on Saturday, January 20. Macon County will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 52-43 league loss to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-12.
