Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 78-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Worthington upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Spirit Lake won 72-67 in their recent league bout against Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 96-84 league loss to Luverne (Luverne, MN).
