In Friday's league match, the visiting Marshall Tigers basketball team scored a good 89-79 triumph over the Worthington Trojans.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) in a AAA Section 2 battle, on Tuesday, December 12. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Scarlets come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 80-63 non-league win over Hermantown (Hermantown, MN).
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Windom (Windom, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Windom was toppled by Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 83-61, in a league battle.
